With new ready-to-wear styles coming off the runway, staying in your gear all day isn’t a problem. Model, Cara Delevingne’s Capsule Collection with DKNY consists of jumpsuits, crop-tops and jackets that are wearable from street to gym.  Making a move from the current sneaker craze, activewear attire is hitting an ultimate peak in demand.

Nike has always been at the forefront for sportswear, but this year a collaboration with Givenchy’s Creative Director- Riccardo Tisci and now having top model- Karlie Kloss as the face for their womenswear line have launched them in the top for fashionable gym gear.

Adidas has also hit a home run with the fashionable fitness gear craze. Collaborations with not only icons and stars of the moment (Rita Ora & Pharrell Williams) , but also top designers of the time (Mary Katrantzou, Jeremy Scott and Stella McCartney) have brought a new high-fashion feel to the activewear label.

H&M will be releasing their Alexander Wang collaboration on  Nov. 6th. Infused with boxing gloves, yoga mats and swimming goggles in a cohesive black collection. Wang designed the collection realizing that there are women who are constantly on the go and don’t have time to change from meetings to fitness sessions. Cropped neoprene jumpers, windbreakers with peak hoods, leggings that wick away sweat and jackets that actually repel water showcase that the collection is functional, but mostly for fashion.

Regardless if you are a fan of leggings and sports bras, the activewear trend is here to stay as it is the fastest growing segment in the fashion market.
