Bienvenue Au Brasserie Gabrielle – Chanel Fall 2015

Welcome to the Brasserie Gabrielle staring the man of the evening, Karl Lagerfeld. Right out of a “Ladies who Brunch” setting, tumblr_nl0aolYsWW1qb0hkyo4_500Lagerfeld brought forth a presentation that fell nothing from short- as per usual for Chanel show productions. Glamorous details down to the table and bar settings created a true storytelling moment with a brass revolving door entrance at the Grand Palais for Chanel’s fall 2015 runway showing.

Lagerfeld brings forth a collection that pays homage to the House of Chanel with an abundance of pearls, tweeds, quilting, trimmed cardigans and two-toned platforms that Coco Chanel would be proud to wear. Puffer jackets were detailed with quilt stitching and enhanced with small beading details. Tulle skirts resembled long waiter aprons with bow-tie closures. Floor length coats with knee-length dresses and ruffled tumblr_nl0envYCxB1sjd7h3o1_1280blousons with black neckties – this collection brought forth a very classical yet modern Chanel. Innovative clutches and bags from the collection included a bags with a fork and pearl closure, one resembling a plate, a menu, and puffer style quilted bags matching the jackets which brought a youthfulness and excitement to the collection. Models had smokey smouldering eyes with slicked back hair or an up-do with a black hair band.

Care to join the brunch? Table for two? Unfortunately the table next to Cara and Kendall is reserved…
