Annual HANDBAGS FOR HOPE Event takes place on February 28th at the Willow Stream Spa at Victoria’s Fairmont Empress Hotel. All funds raised go to the Team for Hope Fund for Neuroblastoma Pediatric Cancer Research Society through the BC Children’s Hospital.
This is NOT to be missed and there are TWO ways you can be part of it!
DONATE: The success of the event depends on generous donations of new and gently used handbags, jewellery and scarves from community members. Starting January 3rd, you can drop off our donations at the NICHE Magazine office (1710 Richmond Avenue – Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm only please) and as a thank you, pick up a limited edition 2014 NICHE Magazine Art Calendar. Each is signed and hand numbered.

ATTEND THE EVENT: Tickets will go on sale in late January for 25$ and you will agree that not only will you be taking part in a great cause but, the event is a great handbag sale for any fashionista. There will be a limited amount of tickets sold and also a much anticipated silent auction of designer bags at the event. Unlike the previous three years, this year will include the sale of gently used jewellery and scarves. The location where Handbags for Hope is held will be divided into rooms designated for certain colour or categories of bags and items to be sold. Women arrive on a mission and with a room of vintage and new treasures the search for the perfect bag will be a scavenge amongst many other handbag lovers. If you are in search of a great new bag or accessory and want to take part in a great fund raising event, stay tuned for ticket sales and location details for the drop-off of goods.
I attended this amazing night last year and it is for such a necessary and mandatory cause!
