Residents of Victoria welcomed Joe Fresh to Uptown with open arms, and open wallets, at the celebratory launch party on March 6th. The store was incredibly well received by media reps as well as throngs of eager shoppers who sipped cocktails and snacked on delicious canapes provided by Truffles Catering.
Joe Fresh really has something for everyone with extensive collections for men, women and children. They also carry a beauty line and a number of accessories and shoes.
The NICHE team browsed the extensive collection of spring merchandise, over the imaginative two story space. Being our first visit to a Joe Fresh stand-alone store, we were amazed by the selection. The entire line was incredibly fashion forward. The displays were well structured and organized by colour making shopping an enjoyable, stress-free experience. The plethora of colours was absolutely spectacular and right on trend with seasonal runway hits. Regardless of the mass selection of pieces, and shoppers, the store never felt overwhelming – the simple, crisp white décor made it feel spacious and welcoming.
Everyone that works at Joe Fresh was absolutely lovely. They did a wonderful job of assisting guests and kept the evening energized and enjoyable, beginning to end. While more than 70 people waited in line to pay for their Joe Fresh picks, the staff worked so efficiently that it hardly felt like a moment’s wait – and guests were doing some serious shopping – many had armfuls stacked fifteen items high.
It was truly a successful evening for Joe Fresh and shoppers alike. Their line of fun, trendy and affordable fashion is a welcome addition to the Victoria fashion scene and I’m sure we can all expect to see plenty of Joe Fresh on our quaint city streets in the weeks and months to come.
