Stunning French Actress, Marion Cotillard has just announced her first jewellery collection – an ethically sourced collaboration with Swiss Luxury brand, Chopard. This pairing is to no surprise as Cotillard flaunts dazzling pieces from Chopard at almost every red carpet event including the Cannes Film Festival where Chopard has been the official partner since 1988.
As for her relationship with ethical fashion, Cotillard supported Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge two years ago on the red 
carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. The Cannes Film Festival will be the venue where Cotillard will release her collection next month (May 2015) – a bracelet and necklace which incorporate opals from a family owned mine in Australia.
“You design while thinking of the people who work on extracting the stones, so it’s a totally different energy,” she told WWD. “Why should the creation of dreams and luxury turn into a nightmare for the people who are providing the raw material?” .
