If you are a fashion blogger, or simply loving taking fashion photographs on the streets of your city, this may be a great way to build your print portfolio, and gain press recognition for your talent and fashion acumen. NICHE magazine’s new column for 2014 will look at fashion from around the globe.
COLUMN OVERVIEW
NICHE Street Style will look at the fashion vibe on the streets around the world. Bloggers from international cities can submit their work for publication consideration. Three cities will be published in print and six cities in the digital edition of NICHE magazine. Byline credit will be given to the writer.
FOCUS
Look around the streets of your international city, capture amazing fashion looks and provide NICHE with images and a concise description. We are not necessarily looking for brand – in fact, we are most interested in how fashion is represented where you live.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Word Count: 100-150 words written in English. See below for what to include in your column write-up.
Photos: Submit maximum 3 high resolution images along with your street style outline. Each image should be a minimum of 300DPI, in full colour and without any file compression.
Your write-up must include the following:
- Concise description (100-150 words) about street fashion that is specific to your city or country. Include interesting facts about what looks are trending where you live or what fashion designers are currently influencing the fashion scene.
- Whenever applicable, please tell us what brands your subject is wearing in the photograph.
IMPORTANT: As an independent blogger, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have permission to publish the subject images. You will be asked to sign a release for NICHE magazine, giving us permission to print your submitted work (words and images). If you need a template waiver form for your photography subject(s), please ask us.

NICHE will acknowledge receipt of your submission, and if your work is chosen for publication, you will then be required to sign and submit a release waiver.
