Behind the Scenes of our Epic NICHE Holiday Shoot

Take Me to Church - Holiday 2016

SHARE

There is more than meets the eye for creating a magical holiday photo shoot. The NICHE team prepped for our early morning shoot at The Old Butter Stone Church – a heated airstream on set and plenty of coffee were necessary to get started.

Models: Aisling, Mary, Olivia, Heidi and Maria met our Hair team from Carriero the Studio and beauty team Alexandra Forman, Gracie Welch and Trish Monkhouse at an Air B&B nearby the shoot location, the McLay Heritage House.

After beauty and hair were complete we left for our shoot location – The Old Stone Butter Church located in Cowichan Bay, B.C. Despite the brisk wind and freezing temperature, models worked alongside our fantastic photographers: Steve Drake and Debbie Steeper to ensure we embodied our vision of NICHE Holiday. As Style Editor of NICHE, Josie Saldat styled and coordinated the shoot and had the help of Jennee Costanzo on set.

Josie pulled stunning gowns from Shades of White Bridal, artisan jewellery from Michal Negrin and fashion pieces, shoes and accessories from Hudson’s Bay.

We send many thanks to our partners for the photo shoot as it wouldn’t have been all smiles without you!
